The Conference will be held February 26 - March 5, 2015 at the MGM Grand Hotel. Attached are the floor plans of the Conference Space that WPPI will be using.

Thank you for agreeing to speak/present at Wedding Portrait Photographers International in Las Vegas. We know preparing for a presentation takes considerable time and thought. The Speaker Resource Center is here to provide assistance in helping you with your efforts. We have developed forms and tips to help us both succeed in providing the best possible industry education. As a speaker at the conference, you are making a difference! The sessions will provide all attendees with various levels of experience (basic to advanced) with new and creative ideas and tools to implement in their own practices. The Speaker Resource Center is intended to guide you through the planning steps and keep you on track with important deadlines and provide staff contact information should you need additional assistance.

The Evaluation Process:

To be considered as a speaker, your program must be educational in nature, and remember we have a diverse audience, so your presentation content should reach out to the entire audience — ** sales presentations will not be accepted. In addition, your material should be original; otherwise, sources must be referenced. For multiple speakers, each speaker must agree to this submission. Incomplete program submissions will not be considered.

Presentation Requirements

WPPI requires a complete title, description, headshot, biography and complete panel when you submit your presentation online. Please also include any sponsorship details. Please email these items to Jason Groupp if you have not already submitted these items.

What is the dress attire for the conference?

Business or business casual is appropriate for the conference.

When Do I Need to Arrive to My Seminar?

It is very important to stop by the Speaker Ready Room to pick up your badge, check-in and receive conference registration materials. Plan to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your session in order to allow time for check-in. You will have 30 minutes prior to your session to set up. If you require additional time, please contact the WPPI Conference.

Technical Setup

For audio-visual requirements, please fill out the speaker request form online (the link is Coming Soon). The standard set in each room will be an LCD projector, appropriate number of microphones and screen. Speakers should bring their own laptop. If you are using a Mac laptop, please note it is your responsibility to provide the Mac adapter.

Speaker Ready Room, Registration and Badges

The Speaker Ready Room will be Room 207 at MGM Conference Center.  It is very important to stop by the Speaker Ready Room to pick up your badge, check-in and receive conference registration materials. Plan to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to your session in order to allow time for check-in. Please arrive at your session room at least 15 minutes before your scheduled presentation time to get yourself organized and situated for an on time start.

All speakers will receive a complimentary registration to the 2015 Wedding Portrait Photographers International Expo + Conference. Your badge will allow you access to all WPPI Expo events, seminars and exhibit hall. Additionally each speaker shall receive two (2) complimentary seminar session passes. These passes can also be used for your staff and/or assistants to access your session.

As a speaker of WPPI Expo you are welcome to mention your products or sponsor products but you should not “hard sell” or push a particular product throughout the entire session.

Where do I submit speaker handouts?

We will not be distributing handouts in an effort to be green.  We will make the handouts available to attendees via WPPI Planner.  Please upload your handout before February 1, 2015 through the speaker request form. Please send handouts to Elise McMillan at

Will Internet access be available?

Wi-Fi internet will not be provided.  Please plan your presentation without internet access. 

Shipping to the MGM Grand
