Couple Marries at WPPI!
It all started at Photo Plus in New York City back in October--Lin Whitford and Bill Baker
from Stage Door Images stopped by
the WPPI booth and started talking with Arlene Evans, WPPI Director of Operations, about the
WPPI Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas. During the conversation, they mentioned that they
had been together for more than a few years and joked about getting married. Arlene offered the
ultimate challenge--get married at WPPI, and I'll pay for your convention registrations! In
December, Arlene received an email from Lin and Bill saying, "We're going to do it!"
On March 25, 2007, Lin and Bill chartered a helicopter from Las Vegas, and with a few of
their closest friends in attendance, got married at the base of the Grand Canyon. They
honeymooned at WPPI and received congratulations from everyone who heard about their romantic
story. And they lived happily ever after…
P.S. Their wedding gift from WPPI was two free registrations!
