WPPI 8x10 Print Competition:
First Half 2008
WPPI's members-only 8x10 print competition occurs twice a year. Congratulations to the
following photographers who placed first-, second- and third-place for the first half
of this year's competition. The images below are the first-place photographs for each
category. A page showing all the winning images will follow shortly on the WPPI website.
From the combined first place winners of the first and second halves of 8x10 competition,
Prints of the Year will be chosen in the four major categories: Wedding, Portrait,
Photojournalism and Commercial. These winners are known as the WPPI International Prints
of the Year and will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony at WPPI 2009 in Las Vegas.
