Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Seeks Photographers
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization
committed to assisting parents and families going through the
difficult time when they experience an early infant loss. NILMDTS
connects families with photographers and provides them with a
DVD and a reproducible CD of the images of their baby.
The gift these professionals bestow—beautiful, heirloom
portraits of beloved babies—are something tangible for
the grieving families to hold on to, something that proves their
little one was on earth and that small life was valuable. Since
its inception in 2005, the organization has grown to include
photographers throughout the U.S. as well as international locations.
It is the goal of the organization to have NILMDTS-affiliated
photographers in every state. However, there are some regions
that are underserved, the Los Angeles area being one.
Photographers interested in affiliating with NILMDTS will undergo
an interview process and be provided with a booklet that details
how to provide these services in their area.
If you’re interested in becoming a part of this heartwarming
endeavor, contact founding member Sandy Puc’ at sam@expressionsphotos.com.

Admired by Beckstead Website
David Beckstead recently apprised us of his website “Admired
by Beckstead.” In explaining the impetus for the site,
David says: “I am constantly amazed by the caliber of stunning
wedding imagery I see at the WPPI conventions and on the Internet.
I often cruise the Net to get inspired before my wedding shoots.
I wanted a place to put all my favorite wedding images… And
so the idea of www.admiredbybeckstead.com was
born!
“The site is about fabulous imagery that I love. It doesn’t
matter who you are or how long you have been in business. Old
photo rules are thrown out the natural light window! I surf the
Net to find these images and many of the images come from submissions.
This is also about having a great place for photographers to
get inspired. The site is linked from many photographers’ sites
and blogs, and like me, they love to check it out before shooting
a wedding.”
If you would like to submit some of your stunning images to
inspire David and his website’s visitors, you can go to
the site and click “submit” at the top for an explanation.
David especially would like to see images for categories such
as Preparation, Humor, Ceremony, Reception, Groups and Details.

initiative for photographic education and inspiration. Each of
its member’s bios and examples of their craft can be found
